The much anticipated lighting infrastructure works to Ground 2 & 3 are now complete with light towers operational as of last Friday 24th April 2015. This now provides the club with the opportunity to fully utilise all three outside grounds on training evenings. These new infrastructure standards will set the club apart in the municipality and make it a more attractive club and venue for existing and prospective players and parents.
The club will now turn its attention to seeking a potential Lighting Upgrade to Gound 1 (Main Seniors) and will continue to work closely with Darebin Council to achieve this long term goal.
The entire lighting project for all three outside grounds is valued at $400K + was funded by Darebin Council, State Government (former) and PLFC. The club is grateful for the continued support of our key Stakeholders.
